What type of warranty do my products carry?
There is a 15-year limited material warranty on Yardline sheds.
Will I need to obtain a building permit prior to my shed installation?
You should check with your local building authority and HOA prior to installation to make sure your shed is compliant with all codes, easements, and setbacks.

What are your build site recommendations to complete before assembly begins?
We suggest a minimum of 3’ of clearance around and above your shed in order for you to construct the building
properly. A minimum of 4’ is recommended if your shed is 12’ wide or more.

Can I build my shed on a concrete slab?
If you have a concrete slab foundation you want to build a shed on, it must be level within 1/2 inch and the correct
size for your shed. To build a shed directly on a concrete slab with no wood floor, the slab needs to be the exact size
of the floor of your structure. If you want to build a shed on top using the included wood floor system, the slab can
exceed the size of the shed.
Keep in mind that if you are pouring a new concrete slab foundation, you will need to wait 7 days for it to be cured
before building your shed on top of it.

Yardline sheds are built using pre-primed siding. We recommend using 100% acrylic latex paint. All exterior horizontal and vertical joints must be painted. Doors should be painted on all 6 sides

All caulking is the homeowner’s responsibility. Your shed is built like your home and should be caulked before painting. Caulk all horizontal and vertical joints and any seams and gaps. We recommend using paintable caulk.
How soon do I need to caulk and paint my shed?
Your shed should be caulked and painted within 30 days after installation. Check with your local building authority and HOA to ensure compliance with architectural codes.
What is the recommended maintenance of the sheds?
Like your home, your new shed will require occasional maintenance to ensure many years of use and a valid warranty.
In addition to re-painting every few years, you should perform other routine maintenance and precautions:
• Keep all grass and vegetation trimmed around the entire perimeter of the shed.
• Do not mound soil or mulch against the siding.
• Do not stack anything against the exterior of your building, such as firewood.
• Locking doorknobs or levers should be sprayed with silicone or other lubricants to maintain the locking
mechanism and prevent freezing in cold climates.
• Do not let sprinklers spray your building.
